Glock .45 Models - These include the 10mm Glock Model 20 pistol and the Glock Model 21 in .45 ACP. Introduced in 1990, the Model 21 in .45 ACP competes with other large-caliber rifles in police service. Americans demand more power from defensive pistols, and my personal opinion on this issue is entirely in line with American opinion.
The tool was well received. Good reliability and accuracy are good selling points. Another strong point is that the magazine holds 13 .45 ACP rounds, giving the pistol a total capacity of 14.

The gun's downside is its size. Female shooters with smaller hands and fingers often do well with the Glock 21, although training and absolute familiarity with the model is necessary. The size of the polymer is relatively light due to the polymer framework.
Best .45 Acp Pistols [excluding 1911s]
Looking at the big picture, the Glock offers significant firepower in a lightweight package. For example, an Original Government Model Colt 1911 in the same caliber weighs 39 ounces. The current service pistol is a 9mm Beretta 92, weighs 35 ounces, and holds 15 rounds of low-efficiency 9mm cartridges.
Another advantage of the Glock is simplicity. The bolt-action design offers only one trigger action for training, unlike double-action first-round pistols, which require you to learn to shoot both double-action and single-action. No manual safety.
The trigger lever is not a true safety. A fall arrester designed to prevent the driver from coasting when you drop this tool. The Glock safety trigger is released when the trigger pulls the bolt under pressure. At this point, the attacker or attacker is partially cocked. Continue to pull the trigger and the striker will retract, breaking under the pressure of the spring and firing the pistol in flight. When the bolt bounces, the bolt is partially ready and another short pull on the trigger will fire the pistol.
The Glock safety section has proven reliable in action and offers easy learning to trigger. Although there is no manual safety, the true safety is within earshot, and the Glock shooter must understand to keep his finger on the trigger until he is ready to fire.
Minuteman Review Guide To Glocks: What Do All Those Numbers Mean? [2022]
The Glock Model 21 has proven to be as reliable as any other Glock pistol, which means reliability is maintained at a high level. Compared to other .45 ACP pistols, the Glock Model 21 has moderately acceptable recoil. Despite its light weight, the polymer frame has little rebound, and the large handle distributes rebound in the palm of your hand. The Glock Model 21 is the lightest recoilless pistol chambered in .45 ACP.
The result is a more controllable and accurate handgun for combat than others with multiple barrels. The Glock Model 21 is also one of the most accurate Glock pistols. Some models of Glock aren't very accurate, and the Model 21 often performs very well.
As with all quality handguns, the Glock Model 21 performs fairly well with a variety of ammo, but for a service pistol, accuracy is always high. Cyclic reliability is good with all types of ammunition. +P grade ammo is not recommended for several reasons.
Many will note that the featured gun is one of the first Glock Model 21s. The new pilots have replaceable grips, more accurate than my original version.
What Gen Is My Glock
However, this old Model 21 is still serviceable. I recommend looking for a newer version. I've never seen a bad M21, but the newer ones are better.
When testing the Glock Model 21 used in this feature, I put it in a service-grade Don Hume holster. It's a well-rounded design that strikes a good balance of speed and grip.
The Glock pistol pictured has fired many thousands of rounds in its lifetime. For the purposes of this review, I've fired it up with various useful levels of ammo.

The unclassified Justice Department has issued a new rule on stabilizing braces and accessories used to convert rifles to shotguns. Like this officer, the Glock is a stripped down version of the original pistol. Arguably, the Glock's more modern operating system and use of advanced materials give it a decisive advantage over the older design.
Best Glock Pistols: The Ultimate Guide For Glock Shooters
Until recently, the most common .45 caliber compact pistol was the so-called officer's model. Derived from the 1911A1 government, it was finally replaced in 2011 by the lighter pistol Glock 36. .45 caliber. On the market today.
The 1911 .45 caliber pistol designed by John Moses Brown is one of the most successful handguns of all time. Recruited by the U.S. Army before World War I, he served through World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the final years of the Cold War. The all-steel, bolt-action pistol was large, heavy, and unattractive, but it was durable and likely to last for decades. Colt Manufacturing later developed the smaller and lighter Colt Commander, but it did not replace the original 1911A1.
The Colt Officer's Model was a Colt-designed second handgun that further lowered the pistol, reducing the barrel length by an inch and a half and the overall weight by half a pound. The result was a smaller, lighter, and more compact version of the 1911A1, better suited to officers in mechanized forces who spent a lot of time in the confined spaces of armor or aircraft. The trade-off was an increased tendency to flare the shooter's muzzle, but that was the price to pay for using a short-barreled .45 cartridge.
In 2011, Glock released a new pistol. The Glock 36 is a .45 caliber single-barreled pistol like an officer. Like the Officer, the Glock is essentially a stripped down version of the original pistol. Arguably, the Glock's more modern operating system and use of advanced materials give it a decisive advantage over the older design.

The Glock 36, like all Glock variants of all calibers and models, is the original Model 17. . In a striker-fired pistol, the pistol is half-cocked, and when the bolt is cocked and the chamber is in the chamber, the pistol is fully cocked and the trigger is pulled to fire. This allows the installation of a number of safety mechanisms such as trigger guards, trigger guards and trigger guards on the firing system.
Another feature that the Glock lacks compared to the 1911 model is the use of polymer to reduce weight. All Glocks use a polymer frame and grip to hold the magazine and fire safety group, reinforced in some places with steel. More importantly, the use of polymer reduces the Glock's four-ounce weight as much as possible. The Glock 36 still uses a steel slide, barrel, guide and other components to handle the loading and recoil of the weapon's magazine.
The Glock 36 has an overall length of 6.97 inches and a barrel length of 3.78 inches. Its overall width is 1.18 inches. It weighs just 22.4 ounces with an unloaded magazine, and 26.81 ounces with a loaded seven-round magazine. One of the few officer-style pistols in production today, the Springfield Armory measures 7.6 inches in diameter and 4 inches in length. The full-steel pistol weighs 28.5 ounces empty, a quarter pound more than the Glock. The Range Officer Compact has six magazines like its Glock.
